The Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) on August 14, 2025, issued a notification regarding the circulation of C&D Waste Management Rules, 2025.
The following has been stated: -
•The Environment (Construction and Demolition) Waste Management Rules, 2025 establish an Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework, making producers of C&D waste, particularly those behind projects with built-up areas of over 20,000 m²,² legally responsible for registering on a portal, preparing waste-management plans, and meeting increasing recycling/use-of-recycled-material targets.
•A copy of the Construction & Demolition Waste Management Rules, 2025, effective from April 01, 2025, is enclosed for information and strict compliance as per the duties outlined in the rules.
